  1. I have a low thyroid and it's really hard for me to lose fat. I use to Jog every day and never lose weight. So I cut back to jogging every other day and bingo slowly losing. Thank you Dr Berg you are such a big help to many we appreciate you.

  2. I lost 15 pounds in a month and a half. At first I was losing 2 Ibs a week. Now it takes longer to lose a Pound I noticed. Im eating better than I ever have. I get in around 1400 to 1600 calories a day. I was 195 Ibs during Christmas and now I am 181

  3. yeah but we're talking about a plateau here… which means "I lost some weight and then I stopped". If you have a thyroid condition or insuline resistance you don't even START losing weight.

  4. I have been following the four pillars Ketogenic diet, Sleep, HIIT, and intermittent fasting. I started at 420lbs and am down to 340 currently. So a loss of 80lbs. Will be at first major milestone of 300 by years end. my goal is 200lbs and I figure another year to year and a half to achieve my goal. My depression is gone and I now have hope of correcting my weight. I am confidant that I will achieve my healthy ideal weight. Thank to Dr. Berg for all the helpful information and explanations.

  5. I have hit a plateau, I know it’s a plateau, for 10 days now. I’m so discouraged…… have been following keto to the nth degree, and feel as though it’s all against me. I know, wah, wah, poor me. Really just so discouraging. I guess I know I was pre-diabetic…..body shape, foods ate, on and off dieting > over 45 years….all the precursors were mine before starting. I’ve been on plan for 6 weeksgoing on 7. 12# lost, slow but steady then wham!!

  6. I've lost 10 lbs from intermittent fasting and daily exercise. I was plateauing for 4 days. Today, I broke it. I usually eat a bran muffin for breakfast, a protein for lunch, but yesterday I had red cabbage coleslaw for lunch and I'm finally down.

  7. I have ltaken off 31 pounds in 75 days , going to slow down way down , it's been too easy . My friend took off 60 pounds in exactly one year , she is slowly backing off . All this on keto with no excercise , lots of delicious healthy keto food , no carbs, no sugar , no alcohol . Thank you Doctor

  8. I use Mapmyfitness to monitor my carbs, protein and fat intake. I last 43 pounds and plateaued. As I try to enter and maintain a state of Ketosis, I struggle with eating high levels of cruciferous vegetables and remaining under 20 grams of daily carbs.

I weigh 200 pounds and stand 6 ft tall. What am I doing wrong and what should I do right to get back into Ketosis rather than just maintaining fat adaptation?

  9. Hi Dr Berg, I usually have one meal per day, have never been able to eat breakfast keto or not. I consume 2 tbsps of Bragg's ACV + 2 tbsps of Real Lemon juice + one cup of unsweetened Silk Almond before I start my day. To that I have Magnesium and B100 supplement (I stopped using potassium supplement because my chart says is too high). I drink plenty of water throughout the day and I never feel hungry. I know I have lost inches because of the way my clothes fit me, but scale hasn't budged much in two weeks. I still feel fatigued, it's been almost two months.

  10. This was great, I have been researching "plateau breaker chest" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried – Conabel Muscle Marmsome – (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my work buddy got excellent success with it.

  11. I started on a diet about 7 years ago at the age of 38. My blood work was not optimal and my BP was around the 145/85 range. So I bought running shoes the next day and started running. I also adopted a low fat, high protein diet. I also returned to lifting weights. I began running and worked up to an average of 5-6 miles daily, 4-6 day’s a week. I definitely overtrained and had too much of a caloric deficit. I did lose a lot of weight and dropped from 205-168 lbs. Over time I switched from cardio to weightlifting and packed on the muscle. I surged to 178 lbs. and hit multiple personal records in weightlifting. As time passed my diet faltered and I pushed up to 186 lbs this summer. A belly popped up. The weightlifting continued, and I let the cardio slip to 2 miles 3 days a week. That’s when I found the Ketogenic Diet and intermittent fasting. Now I am Keto adapted and down 16 lbs. in less than too months. Only gains in the gym. Cut out cardio and switched to HIIT. Hopefully see that six pack soon. Skin better since ditching the carbs. I used to get breakouts on my face and chest.
I also intermittent fast. I eat twice a day on a 16/8 or 18/4 hour fast schedule. Jacked with energy. I do enjoy a few beers here and there, and throw in a carb day once a month. Currently my BP is around 130/78, not perfect but far better.
Thanks for the videos and guidance.

  12. I just started the two-meal plan. It's fantastic! Down 6.4 lbs. in four days. What a pleasure, after being on a plateau for several months. I'm not snacking at all, eating plenty of fats and veggies and moderate protein. Feeling GREAT! There is a little desire to eat at lunch, but it soon passes. I just drink some water and before you know it, it's time for dinner. My daughter and her husband are doing the same thing, with very good results. What a break through!
