What is the all carb diet well before I get into the details I want to show you some of the results that I achieved in a month on this type of diet plan. Because the results kind of shocked me so I can almost a hundred percent guarantee that you’re going to learn something new if you watch this video to the end. Let me start by showing you guys some videos. the first video is one that you might have seen before. This was me about 2-3 months ago right before I did a 5-day fast. This second video is taken a month after the first video directly after my 5 day fast. And this video was taken today after eating a diet primarily consisting of carbohydrates for the last month. Like I’m talking about probably over 80% of my diet has been carbs. Isn’t that interesting. I find it very interesting because we’re all led to believe things like if you fast or if you don’t eat enough protein you’re going to lose all your muscle mass. But that didn’t happen I maintained the majority of my muscle. In fact for a cut Id say I did a very good job maintaining muscle mass. Even though of course I did lose some muscle Whenever I’ve cut in the past with low carb high protein diets I would still lose some muscle mass. And that applies to everyone unless you’re on steroids you’re going to have a really hard time maintaining all your muscle mass while cutting, the point is to maintain as much of it as you can which I think i did just fine. The energy from the glucose from the carbohydrates in combination with heavy weight training maintained and spared my muscle mass. The other myth we’re led to believe is that carbs are bad for you or that you need to do a low-carb diet such as Atkins Keto paleo or one of the other low-carb diets in order to lose weight burn fat and get shredded. You’ll never get shredded eating a high carb diet right? Totally wrong. I’ve pretty much only been eating carbs for the last month to actually test out on myself if good sources of carbs make you fatter. And even though I thought I was going to lose muscle and i thought i was gonna get fatter instead my body fat dropped way down and my muscles felt fuller… Let’s go over to the kitchen so I can show you exactly what I was eating. Obviously I was still eating healthy carbs like brown rice. Ezekiel cereal was another healthy carb that I would eat regularly. As well as oatmeal. I had one major criteria for choosing my carb sources and that was if it was made from single ingredient sources. Ive talked about single-ingredient foods for a while now but I feel like some people are still confused. With oatmeal it’s really easy to tell that this is a single ingredient food. But with something like Ezekiel cereal it’s a little harder to tell because the ingredients are a lot longer. However if you look closely at the ingredient list you’ll see that they’re all natural sources of carbohydrates and they’re all themselves single ingredients. another carb source that I would have a lot of were bananas sometimes up to three or four a day. Rice cakes were also part of my diet as a snack. also I was having a lot of puffed rice cereal. this cereal is made out of only one ingredient and that ingredient is puffed whole grain brown rice. And I would have that cereal with almond cashew milk not the 25 calorie one or the 60 calorie one but the full out 80 calorie high carb one. And ill admit the 25 calorie one would be better but regardless I would have sometimes two to three bowls of this cereal at night before bed and still continued cutting. Also I would have a whole bunch of different kinds of pasta including Ezekiel pasta which might look like it has multiple ingredients but really it’s still a single ingredient food. I would have regular whole wheat pasta with only one ingredient. And I would also have high protein black bean mung bean and edamame pasta. And even though these are pretty high in protein you can clearly see the majority of my diet was coming from carbs. i would freely add pasta sauce as well but once again it’s very important which sauce you choose. Almost all of them have added sugar, you want to get the one with single ingredients and you might have to do a little bit of searching at your supermarket to find it. I was also having faster digesting carbs like potatoes baked in olive oil. And then for my snack cravings I would have things like dark Russet chips.

  1. Who pays you for your fake science reporting? Shame on you. You are hurting people with your propaganda! KETO KILLED MY CANCER, gave me more energy, reduced my brain fog, got rid of my pain/inflammation, helped me to sleep less, made me more productive, made me lose weight, makes me happier and make me crave sweets almost to "0".! CARBS ARE NOT WHAT WE ARE INTENDED TO EAT! HIGH GOOD fat, mod.protein, and LOW CARBS is how you do it! You are not a fat loss expert. ThERE ARE HUNDREDS OF TESTIMONIES OF HUMBLE REGULAR PEOPLE on You Tube WHO LOST tons of WEIGHT (and have KEPT IT OFF) if people would stop allowing themselves to be led astray.

  2. I love this! I have basically been eating this diet for a while now and, without counting calories or macros, I'm leaner than I've ever been, my blood sugar is great, my energy levels are awesome, and I'm not hungry all the time! Starches are the absolute best.

  3. net calories consumed/expended is the 1st thing that matters for weight loss. What trips people up is effectiveness. If you eat higher carbs, you better be doing higher intensity work. If you do higher fat, lower intensity work should do. It is a matter of preference. Remember, whatever energy source your body uses when you exercise, it will use the alternative source after you exercise. It is best to match your diet to how you prefer to move, not matching how you like to move to your diet.

  4. Such videos make me so angry because the public does not have access, nor a proper judgment to a scientific literature. PLEASE, don't listen to this guy. It is deeply disappointing to watch something like this and seeing how many likes this man has. Please educate yourself, because high carb diet is a straight road to diabetes and a cardiovascular related morbidity for an average individual. I can write a very long message but I know that it will still be not enough to convince the public that a high carb diet is ridiculous to consider. If I were to say to my professor high carb diet is good for you, she would probably smash me with a physiology book (and it is very very heavy).

  5. I feel as if keto/carnivore and things of that sort are more for the healthy benefits. That being said you can be healthy and eat carbs and you can lose weight from high carbs. The problem is all the candy and processed and sugary food we eat

  6. It seems a lot of ppl on high carb diets also workout quite a bit. Not just regular run every day cardio but weight lifting. Least from what I’ve seen. So the question begs, does this diet work if you only do cardio in your exercise? I mean for losing weight primarily

  7. You have the best info and you don’t pretend to be an expert and say that one diet is the key to health like every other youtuber in the diet fitness world.

  8. I’m almost a year late to this video but a good question is a good question. You talked about a lot of good things that completely opened my mind up to this type of diet but you didn’t mention in this video how your energy levels throughout the course of the month were effected on this high carb diet . I’m pretty sure there’s a difference response from the human body when your consuming bs carbs verse good single ingredient carbs … but how much of a difference is there if there are any. I’ve been drilled to believe that insulin spikes are the cause of emergent crashes and with my own experience at least eating the bs carbs do exactly that . If any see this and has an answer for this question feel free to respond to this post .. please . Queenz in the building !

  9. Everyone's body is different. Watching these videos are entertaining but i wouldn't take all the info. Try out different shits and see what works for you. Just like dating. You date bunch of low quality hoes to find your high quality hoe and put a ring on that.

  10. From my point of view eating carbs in this way can work and can be healthy only if u have already a basal metabolism that is enough bigger (u have developed already some slim muscle mass), i am 61kg for 175cm and i also eat a lot of carbs but i need them for cycling and run (i cant do 70km trips without), i want have a muscolar apperence and thats why i usually do free body exercise but i still have a little layer of fat that dont allow to show the abs for example.
    Somebody have advices?
