Summer diet: what to eat for weight loss this summer

Don’t eat these foods on your diet for this summer if you want to lose weight. Or is it more important that you don’t eat too much of them?

Realistically, you can lose weight no matter what you eat. You could even lose weight eating ONLY these foods.

But, all of that being said, you can avoid these foods and make some simple swaps to make it easier to stay on a caloric deficit 🙂

For those of you that are new here, hey, I’m Conrad 🙂 I’ve done some bodybuilding as a vegan. My YouTube channel Veggies for Thought has the goal of giving people some food for thought, and veggies for thought.

  1. Why cut? Why not just eat right and train? Look how lean Ive stayed the last 18 years…DONT EAT LESS JUST EAT RIGHT PEOPLE!

Ive helped thousands of people get so lean they look like olympic level runners and cyclists. I don't know anyone else getting the results I help others get. Look how hot my gf's get or stay. JUDGE BY RESULTS VS THEORY!

PS; If sugar made us fat how come I NEVER have to cut my carbs even if I have an injury from a crash or something?

  2. I had a dream where I was walking around Charleston, WV and I bumped into you. You walked back with me to my apartment and said "come on dude let's go for a jog!" I was pumped and ready to go. Needless to say, after I woke up you motivated me to get going! Thank you for what you did in my subconscious haha

  3. Conrad! Over a month ago I commented that you've inspired me to get in better shape. I've been consistent at the gym and already dropped 2 pant sizes and passed 200 lbs on my squat and 300 on my deadlift! I'm more motivated than ever and enjoying the actual workouts more and more. Thanks for being a great example of vegan fitness! I wanted to ask as well: my chest is lagging and not improving much vs other muscle groups. Do you have any favorite exercises you like to use for improving chest strength and hypertrophy?

  4. I haven't had sugar soda in probably over two years. I've replaced it with water soda (purchased a SodaStream unit).
One slice of bread with peanut butter and no jam — not sure why I never thought of that, LOL.
I've been having only Ezekiel bread, as I don't mind paying premium for whole bread.
For desserts, I've gone back to whole fruit smoothies (frozen mango, berries, bananas, etc).

  5. You're advocating hemp seeds as a jelly replacement? Taste wise, um, NO, and I thought the goal was caloric deficit? Seeds are WAY more calorically dense than jelly dude

  6. In regards to peanut butter and jam/jelly… years ago, thanks to my dad, I got hooked on peanut butter and banana sandwiches. It's still extra "sugar" on your sandwich, but I think sliced banana is a lot healthier than jam or jelly.

  7. The mystery isn’t the calories on a vegan cut… it is how the hell are you getting enough protein to maintain muscle and not disintegrate like everyone else?! Basically comes down to protein powder guys.
