  1. Hunter gatherers, gathered much more than they hunted. Lets remember that hunter gatherers still exist today, and most of them subsist on plants, they only eat meat intermittently. We watch nat Geo and discovery channel and assume that what makes good TV is these people's daily life. Hunting is not a daily affair for them and when they do kill an animal it is shared among an entire village, so the actual amount of meat they do eat is minimal. Lions eat every 6 to 12 days but humans want to eat meat everyday with every meal??

  4. To put it even more simply. If people didn't have fast and easy food back in prehistory, why would you need it now? To make your life easier. Paleo is not a lose weight fast diet, It's a Stop Eating Crap All The Time diet. It's for people who know what food is supposed to do. Junk food makes you sick and sedentary. There are docs out there about what junk food companies do to keep you hooked on their products. I can't see Paleo having anything in it that gets anyone addicted because it's based on real whole foods with grass fed meats. It's not the millionth fad diet to buy into to lose weight fast and then go back to junk food because you're too bored with their menu. If people still haven't figured out what humans need to be eating by now, then they might as well keep eating the Great American Diet until they die of diabetes or heart attack.

  6. For me, I figured I'd follow the teaching of the institution that takes in all the sick people that western medicine has given up for dead and turns them around thousands of times over 60 yrs. I strive to follow the Hippoacrates diet. Raw vegan is not easy but for me it works. Kicked all my pharmaceutical drugs and lost 50 lbs in one year. For me this is the truth.

Bullshit….There's only ONE way of eating scientifically proven to reverse heart disease (not to mention preventing and halting it), our nation's number one killer…and it's NOT paleo….I'll stick with the real deal, not bogus studies funded by the meat industry….Read Proteinaholic, How Not to Die, and go to Nutritionfacts.org for the real deal…I don't argue back and forth with trolls, so, that's it, I'm outta here….!

  8. Sounds like another 'fad' diet to me.  I'll stick with Youngevity and Dr. Wallach, Dr. Glidden and although not Youngevity directly, Dr. Group for now.
