  1. curried chickpea and lentil dal from bon appetit magazine! it's reproduced for free on epicurious, fortunately. we made it for a big party and it was such a hit we made it again for ourselves like a week later lol

  2. If you like soup, you should check out some Korean soup recipes. They are really delicious and tend to be spicy since you like spicy food, but also are very easy to turn savory instead. Most of the recipes are very easy to make vegan. I really like making duenjang jjigae, sundubu jjigae, and sujaebi for myself. The youtube channel CheapLazyVegan has a lot of veganized korean recipes and other recipes. As a cheap lazy food preparer myself I really enjoy using her recipes.

  3. I don't have recipe suggestions, but there are quite a few (vegan) youtubers with marvelous recipes: for example Madeleine Olivia, Hot for Food, Cheap Lazy Vegan or Sweet Potato Soul

  4. I'm obsessed with meal planning at the moment, I plan out All my meals and it makes being vegan on a budget so much easier and helps make sure I have variety in my cooking lol. I made the green curry from this video today for lunch today and tomorrow and it was soooo good

  5. Great video! Would also be super helpful to see what other meals you eat, plus any tips on eating healthy/getting all the nutrients on a vegan diet (esp without breaking the bank). I'm mostly vegetarian and would love to go vegan soon. But it can seem really daunting – I worry about switching to a vegan diet and not getting the right nutrition, and feeling shitty because of it, or that I will have to spend a lot of time/energy/money to ensure this doesn't happen. I think ultimately I will get there as I think it's the right decision for the planet, but any advice would be appreciated! xxx

  6. this is definitely so helpful! i just moved to london so im still trying to figure out how to feed my vegan self, so everything helps. ive been dying to go to temple of seitan too… anyway im living too much of the insecure student life to really plan my weeks, but listing ideas and finding recipes before shopping will defs help.

  7. Thank you so much for this video. Meals always stress me out, I never know what to eat and if it weren't for mandatory lunch breaks at work, I might end up not eating all day on some days. Instead of deciding what to eat that day I often just end up not eating anything. But your video has made it seem like the easiest thing in the world, with the simple steps and a clear structure to the whole thing. It was a video I didn't know I needed, so thank you.

  10. My favourite soup recipe takes forever bc it is Ottolenghi, but his Thai red lentil curry with peas and a chilli oil drizzle is the BUSINESS. Just writing this out is making me want to add it to my weekly meal list.

  12. I have been making OhSheGlows spiced lentil soup every week for my lunches and its DELICIOUS! Can't beat a good old pan of soup to fill you up over the week!

    I loved this – meal planning is one of my favourite things to do!

    i have the same approach to bullet journalling but ive never tried meal planning before, and this is such a good way to do it

  14. Been really inspired lately by your gym journey and have got myself to the gym, but I find that when I start working out I often compensate by eating really terribly because I've "earned it." I think doing that actually makes it harder to keep going and getting healthier, so this is just what I need to be more organized about what I'm eating!

  16. Bbc Good Food have a really good lentil ragu recipe that I used for shepherd's pie- I add in a teaspoon or so of marmite to give it that extra salty flavour too. The recipe is for 6 people though, so I either halve it, or freeze the other half. It can also be made in a slow cooker, which makes it easier
