It is now believed that foods which are rich in proteins and less in carbs are the best way to lose weight to maintain weight and for people who are not overweight. This is probably the best diet to follow. So the rough rule of thumb is that your diet should be 60 – 70% proteins, 10 – 20% carbohydrates and 10 – 20% of fats.
